In beautiful Sedona, Arizona it’s not difficult to find the work of an artist. From jewelry to paintings, each piece is unique. Art collectors visit Sedona just to experience the new exhibits, take part in 1st Friday in the Galleries and meet with gallery directors.
Although there is a solid classic southwest theme in most of the art that can be found in Sedona, there is also a local establishment that focuses on bringing the best modern art to light. Lanning, a Bryant Nagel Gallery is located at 431 State Route 179 in Sedona, Arizona. The gallery was founded in the late 80’s and features a wide variety of regional and internationally recognized artists.
Artwork mediums at the Lanning Gallery range from sculpture, to paintings, to pottery. Unique finds are also available; art crafted from wood, tin and bits of nature. Lanning exhibitor and Found Object Sculptor Elizabeth Frank shares, “Whenever I return to the aspen forest to collect wood I am awed by the strength and delicacy of the natural world. I try to incorporate these observations into my work.”
Locals and visitors are encouraged to stop into the Lanning Gallery any time between the hours of 10am and 6pm during the week and weekends. Professionals are eager to assist you in finding the perfect fit for your home, office or collection.
